Dr. Lori E. Kniffin is an assistant professor of leadership at Fort Hays State University. Her teaching and research interests include collective leadership development, civic leadership, community engagement, and critical leadership studies. Prior to her time at FHSU, Lori served as a community engagement professional at the University of North Carolina Greensboro and was named the 2019 Civic Engagement Professional of the Year by NC Campus Engagement (formerly North Carolina Campus Compact). Lori earned her Ph.D. in Educational Studies with a concentration in Cultural Foundations from UNC Greensboro.
