Susan Ferebee earned her PhD in information systems at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She also has an executive JD from Concord Law School (Purdue University Global) and a master’s in educational psychology from Purdue University Global. She is a faculty member in the School of Business and Information Technology at Purdue University Global, teaching master’s classes in Cybersecurity. Susan has over 25 years of industry experience working for America on Line (AOL), Intuit, Lucent Technologies, and Tier 3. She has also served as a consultant, with more than 25 years of experience working directly with organizations and higher education institutions. Susan has published many peer-reviewed articles. Her current research includes studies on supply chain security, ethics of metaverse, Capture the Flag competitions in education, smart technology use in homeschooling, personal cybersecurity behaviors, the influence of interpretive communities on persuasion, and most recently, service learning in online learning.
