Nathan McBurnett is a full-time specialist at the Purdue University Writing Lab focusing on community-engaged writing initiatives. He recieved his bachelors degree in anthropology and philosophy at Purdue University and his masters degree in urban planning from the University of Michigan. Specializing in community development, Nathan seeks to develop the Purdue OWL's resources in a way that both prepares students to write for audiences beyond the university and supports community-based organizations in their project-related writing demands.
