Sheila Parra-Gómez is a PhD student at the Universitat Jaume I (Spain). She is a member of the Endavant research group. She has already published a few articles and book chapters on educational research. She has carried out an international research stay.
Starting from an eminently humanistic background, when writing her thesis she combines history, education and communication as her object of study, focusing on human rights, especially in the fight for equality for people with disabilities. Thus, its main lines of research are: the Pedagogy of Difference, the History of Disability, the History of Education, Educommunication, the use of technologies in Education, the Pedagogy of the Body, Learning-Service, and the binomial Pedagogy-Image.
