Katherine Nordyke is the Director of Citizenship and Service-Learning (CASL) at Missouri State University (MSU), co-chairs the committee for the University's Carnegie Recertification Classification, and serves on several MSU committees including the Assessment Council and the Public Affairs Conference Committee. Over the years she has engaged in several research projects centered on service-learning, student success, and engagement in schools and communities, and is published author and speaker in the field of service-learning. She also serves as adjuct faculty teaching courses in leadership and communication, family engagement, and courses in the honors college, and frequently serves as a reviewer for scholarly publications in the field. Katherine devotes time in the community serving on several board of directors and is the recipient of the 2014 Board of Governors Award for Staff Excellence in Public Affairs; the highest recognition awarded an employee of Missouri State University.
