Elaine Ward has more than two decades of progressive academic and administrative experience in higher education in the US and Europe. Elaine serves on multiple regional, statewide, and national networks and consortia to advance community engagement and impact. Nationally, she currently serves on the National Advisory Committee for the Carnegie Elective Community Engagement Classification. She is a past two-term IARSLCE board member, conference chair, and currently co-facilitates IARSLCE's Alliance for Engaged Colleges and Universities. Elaine is co-editor of the recent book 'Anti-ractist Community Engagement' and is currently a research fellow with the American Council on Higher Education Carnegie Elective Classifications team advancing research for public purpose.
