Lindsay Savelli, MPH (she/her/hers) is the Program Manager for the Environmental Justice Action Research Clinic at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health where she supports community-driven efforts to promote environmental justice in North Carolina. In this role, she helps conduct health and environmental quality assessments; collaborates equitably with community partners; prepares grant applications and reports; supports strategic planning and visioning; coordinates the activities of undergraduate and graduate research assistants; develops evaluation tools; and supports community-led advocacy efforts. She has worked in partnership with the Anderson Community Group since 2021. At Gillings, Lindsay also serves as a Teaching Fellow for Capstone, a yearlong, community-led, critical service-learning course for MPH students in the Health Behavior and Health Equity, Social Justice and Human Rights concentrations.
