Dayton Ashby serves as a VISTA Leader with the North Mississippi VISTA Project, a signature initative of the Grisham-McLean Institute for Public Service and Community Engagement at the University of Mississippi. He previously served as the program development VISTA for M Partner, a place-based community engagement initative also at the Grisham-McLean Institute. In this role, he acted as an investigator for data collection on a community and housing needs survey, conducted data anaylsis, and worked with institute faculty and staff to compile a final report.
